

The company is looking to emerge as the front runner of mobile virtual reality. Google’s Daydream VR platform is centered on the use of smartphones. The two share a fairly similar shape and focus dial. Take a look at the pictures released by Google and you will notice a few similarities between their Daydream unit and Samsung’s Gear VR. Google’s blog post went on to state that the addition of new headsets to this virtual reality platform will provide customers with enhanced flexibility in terms of how the VR experience can be enjoyed. There is an adjustable focus for use without eyeglasses. The blog post emphasized the new headset’s superior user experience design and general ease of use. Instead of hosting a press conference, Google used a blog post to publicize the extensive list of products compatible with Daydream. Google’s recent Daydream announcement keyed in on the unit’s short learning curve. It would not come as a shock if Google enlisted the support of additional electronics manufacturers beyond Huawei as time progresses. Google has partnered with the Chinese electronics powerhouse Huawei to manufacture Dream View units on a mass scale to meet the November release date with ample supply. Google will go head-to-head with VR powerhouses like Oculus, Sony and Samsung. The arrival of Daydream View will make Google a legitimate contender in the VR realm. The Daydream View is poised to arrive on shelves at the beginning of November, 2017. It won’t be long until the general public gets the chance to experience the magic of Daydream. The Daydream appears to be quite the amazing piece of virtual reality technology.
